Dear Ms. Burdgick:

Holly Pajak helped me this past summer and fall de-clutter and downsize my 8 room house that I had been living in for 41 years. She came to my house approximately 2 times a week for approximately 4 hours each time. It took just over 4 months to get it ready to be put up for sale. I have arthritis in both knees and both shoulders, and have trouble walking and standing, as well as stretching and reaching, and I wanted to move into a local independent living community in the Clifton Park area. The stairs were becoming very difficult for me to use. I can honestly say that it was Holly that made the move possible – I could not have done it without her, even with the help of friends. My children live in California and Maryland. My husband passed away 12 years ago and I was truly on my own. If it were not for Holly, I would still be in that house over 3 months later. I also must say that every room, closet, and drawer in my home was chock full of 41 years of my life.

Holly is extremely organized and efficient. She knew where to start and in what direction to go. She knew what needed to be given or thrown away, sold, or donated. She either brought items for donation to the proper location or put them in order in the garage for pickup by a man with a large truck. She knew exactly where in the side of the garage things were placed, in case we needed to get at them again. Every box was labeled neatly and correctly. The things that were to be thrown out were placed in black plastic trash bags. The boxes and moving materials were purchased by Holly for me at a local moving and self-storage facility. Holly also has an engaging and wonderful outgoing personality. She is so friendly and very easy to get along with. I never felt like there was a stranger in my house.

Holly was a tremendous help on moving day. She arranged for the mover to come. Once we got to the new apartment, she unpacked for me to the point that I would be comfortable overnight. She came back for several days after the move to finish unpacking and putting things where they belonged. She also hung pictures on the walls for me and set up some things in a storage area down the hall from my apartment. Please contact me if you have any questions.
