Shortly after the death of her father, Holly found herself responsible for overseeing her mother’s move from a four-story home to significantly smaller residence over the course of assisting her mother and sister with identifying which items to keep, which to donate and which to sell followed by how to utilize the items within the new residence, Holly had an epiphany that she was most likely not alone in this experience. Holly realized that her 15+ years of experience as a professional interior designer and spatial planning had been an invaluable tool within this process and decided to utilize at experience in assisting others in what can be an extremely difficult, personal and stressful time of their lives.
As a result, Senior Moves By Design was born as an interior design and decluttering service that specializes in assisting seniors and their families during the transition from the family home into a smaller residence, retirement community, assisted living facility and/or nursing home. Her organizational skills, energy, passion and compassion combined with her interior design experience are invaluable tools for providing excellent service to all of her clients.
Marge Stronach, Senior Move Manager: Marge was most recently employed as a nanny for 17 years for a local doctor until the children were of college age. She loves nurturing people which is why when the opportunity to work with Senior Moves by Design came along, she was happy to join the team. It also gives her a chance to share her organizational and creative skills with clients that need them most.
